Amen Ankh Akademy uses the Khepera Beetle as It's an emblem to exemplify diligence, Ingenuity, Industry, in Connection with the cosmos. The Khepra beetle is renown by the ancients for laying her eggs in dung and rolling it underground. The hatchlings feed on the nutrients of the cow dung and arise from the earth- "reborn!" or resurrected.
The scarab beetle (khepera) rolls balls of dung across the ground, an act that the KMT (Egyptians) saw as a symbol of the forces that move the sun across the sky. Khepri was thus a solar deity. Young dung beetles, having been laid as eggs within the dung ball, emerge from it fully formed. Therefore, Khepri also represented creation and rebirth, and she was specifically connected with the rising sun and the mythical creation of the world. The Egyptians connected her name with the Egyptian language verb kheper, meaning "develop" or "come into being". Kheper, or (Xeper) is a transcription of an ancient Egyptian word meaning to come into being, to change, to occur, to happen, to exist, to bring about, to create, etc.

The first step to free ourselves is to feed ourselves!!! Production, Promotion, and Perpetuation-

Adenike "Nuta" Amen-Ra is a Natchez Native American.
(Yes People of African Descent Civilized the American continent and were living in the Americas for millennia, long before 1490!)

Achieved degrees in Fine Arts and Cross-Cat. Exceptional Education.

I practice the ancient KMT- KRST Spiritual systems, living as a Minister and Urban Homesteader, growing Food-Not-Lawns in the urban landscape. I grow the "3 Sisters" of Heirloom Corn, Green Beans, and Squash/Melons, with Herbs, peppers, and Cruciferous Vegetables. Our Soil is cultivated using strictly Natural Organic Compost from food scraps mixed with, a Vermiculture of worms, spent coffee grounds, leaves, grass cuttings and sometimes even community contributions of lawn leaves, grass, barbershop hair, and kitchen scraps from families and restaurants, from all over the metro Kansas City urban landscape!

In 1990 I graduated from KU in Visual Communications and Sculpture, minoring in Anthropology, having left a violent domestic relationship, only to come to the Kansas City urban core, as an apartment manager, working in an area that had become the site of Cointelpro evasion of guns, drugs, and predatory police; with many victims engaged in survival, facing violent criminal activities, open drug sales, and prostitution, with an underground economy and strong gang presence.

I made the decision to take a stand, to live in the community that I work for, to build a positive future for my children, and the youth of the community. Sparked by the inspiration of the Black Panther Party's Youth Food Program and Black liberation Freedom schools, I surrounded my family with the rich cultural heritage of Indigo people. I began studying and participating in Afrikan Dance, and traveled with my children, extensively to attend Afrikan Centered lectures and events, while visiting African Centered communities across the country. My own Children spent their teen years around this positive environment of the Hill Family, (Francis N. Hill) an entrepreneurial Black family-based business, NBUF-KC (National Black United Front), and the ACE (African Centered Education) Campus, who provided an African Centered Cultural values system of Nguzo Saba (7 principles).

With a background in Visual Communication, Crafts, and Fine Arts, I established Adenike's Arts using recycled materials, and grew a garden in our backyard, cultivated mulberry trees to make dyes for fabrics, sewing clothing, and craftworks, and making food products to set up as a vendor. I was inspired to teach in the community, obtaining a master's degree in Exceptional Education where I taught for more than a decade. I have lectured, shared KMT Spiritual Libations, Spiritual Cleansing, and Blessings, in Kansas City, St. Louis and Memphis, also hosting an internet radio presence. I currently minister and direct a Wellness Temple of Life ministry called Amen Par Ankh nestled around an urban farm (Amen Ankh) of local wild plants, herbs, cruciferous vegetables, and the Three Sistars of Corn, Beans and Squash/Melons. My Ministry is supported with a minority (Women/Veteran) Contracting corporation: Amen Communications- promoting IT Services, Installations, and Green Products.

In the Autumn of 2011, I worked as the event planner, with EMWOT to promote Will Allen (who advised the Obama Organic Gardens at the White House), from Milwaukee, Wisconson, and introduce Urban Agriculture to Kansas City. After the tragic lynching of my brother Trevor Walker, and the death of a dear friends Ogun Ptah (Jamal Ali), and Elder, Brent Mosley, who both died of cancer, I Joined the Organization: Stop The Killing KC, A million man march initiative.  I worked as a community activist, to establish wellness and healing, by supporting a Community safehouse, and establishing Amen Par Ankh and Urban farm. I lead a Get-Out-To-Vote- Voter Registration Campaign and served as a co-teacher of ASCAC (The Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations) and the promotion of Local Healing and Memorial Gardens...

In the spring of 2012, I, along with other Urban Farmers, Launched “Heal the Hood” in Kansas City, to work in 64128 zip code, the most desolate area of midtown Kansas City, Missouri, aiming to provide urban neighborhoods and schools with interactive workshops, and gardening programs, like You G.R.O.W.W. Girls- Teach a girl heal a nation, (Gaining Resilience, Opportunity, Wellness and Wealth) and EMWOT's Youth Going Green.

My experiences with Special Education K-12, launched my interest in creating a homeschooler cooperative network. The vision of youth in a Tuskegee college atmosphere, growing and eating their own foods, and their connection with the ecosystem and environment.  I added an "A" to STEM to make STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Vocational Arts and Mathematics) , using a results-driven curriculum supported by Families and neighborhoods
